As you probably know if you watch the news, the building was housing a clothing factory, clothes that are mainly exported to EU after their manufacture, and sold dozen times their manufacturing price. The companies who were subcontracting the factory will go unpunished like always. They’ll give 80 € as “indemnity” to the families of the victims and only after asking them tons of things justifying the person who deceased in their family was working at the factory. The thing I find the most sickening is that the media will talk about it for a while and then everyone will forget about it and keep buying Mango clothes, and this kind of slavery will keep existing while no one does something about it.
Stuff like this make me think that we live in a strange messed up world…
